Abstract
  • God used Egypt to prepare for Christianity and used the Egyptian church to protect Christianity in the early centuries. Now God needs trained Egyptian leaders to serve as His tools in fulfilling His Great Commission. This project contributes to such leadership training. The first four chapters detail relevant aspects of Egypt's history, culture and religions. Later chapters discuss the obstacles to reaching Egyptians, suggests a bridge for reaching them, and considers the nature of the Egyptian church and its role in leadership training. The final two chapters deal with resources for evangelization in Egypt and the role of Egypt in fulfilling the Great Commission worldwide. Three case studies are presented as appendices.
