Abstract
  • This project challenges fundamental issues and relationships between older and younger Christians in the faith community; to facilitate reciprocal needs; raise conscious awareness of cultural, age and racial differences between generations. Generations need to nurture and be nurtured, to teach and be taught; and to mobilize these common human needs. Eight cross-generational Bible studies are used to examine two aspects: attitudes of age groups and class participation. the study shows when generations are united, and participants come to know one another, differences in age, background and beliefs, which could result in hostility or avoidance, can encourage understanding, respect and love.
