Abstract
  • The purpose of this study was to determine if pastors of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church denomination preached sermon on Sunday mornings through the book of Revelation. It was the author's hypothesis that they did not. A qualitative research project was conducted, which included a literature review and interviews with twelve EPC pastors all of whom had at least ten years of ministry experience. This study confirmed the author's initial belief that preaching through Revelation is being neglected by EPC pastors. factor's such as absence of significant seminary training in Revelation, a perceived lack of practical application for today's listener and a deficiency of pastor's personal study in the book were all contributing factors. The study suggests further research that could help reverse this trend.
