- Abstract
- The purpose of this project is to demonstrate the practical significance of an urban strategy and to equip the laity for evangelizing in urban areas where the Korean community is concentrated in the United States of America. The project involves training Korean speaking lay people in evangelism for the urban context. It has three foundational pillars: selection of trainees (Kim, Park, Hyun, and Lee), support by the church, and preparation for leading training seminars by the author. The challenge of urban evangelization can be met only by strategies that are adapted to the context, through planning based on accurate understanding of those to be reached.
