Abstract
  • This is a case study of the Berean Baptist Church and its survival into the twenty-first century. In a six year period of time, the Berean Baptist Church had replaced two ministers due to internal conflict. In spite of church membership growth there appeared to be a need for leadership training. Some members agreed to attend leadership development classes. This training can contribute to the survival of the Black independent church of the twenty-first century.
