Abstract
  • This project/practicum posits the value of a congregation evaluating its worship practice to determine if it meets their needs of personal devotion, fellowship, Christian education and evangelism. Through two non-threatening questionnaires Eastridge Baptist Church evaluated its Sunday morning worship service. The study benefited the congregation by revealing needed adjustments to details of its worship practice and by serving as a vehicle for the congregation and its new pastor to become better and more rapidly acquainted. Though developed for a Southern Baptist church, this program would assist any congregation wishing to develop insights through self-evaluation of its worship practice.
