Abstract

This project was designed to develop a process for birthing the vision given by God for a local church. The tool created in this process was a Ministry and Action Planning Team, composed of six regular members, a team leader, and three ad hoc members who were taught an eight session training module by the pastor to prepare them to clarify and communicate the vision for the New Samaritan Baptist Church. A pre/post-test and a post-training survey indicated that the Team had been equipped to effectively communicate the church's vision to church leaders and members of the congregation.
