Abstract
  • The purpose of this project was to address the lack of an adequate structure at St Paul's United Methodist Church that encouraged members to practice measurable, accountable discipleship. Two sample small groups were used for the ten-week project: a pilot group and a parallel group. The pilot group consisted of seven members who were secured through private invitation. The parallel group's involvement was limited to taking the same pretest and posttest as the pilot group. The project reaffirmed a need for an accountability model for all ages as it produced more faithful and consistent discipleship and aided in the assimilation of new members.
