Abstract
  • For the past four decades, Chinese churches in North America have seen rapidgrowth as Chinese immigrants emigrated to North America. However, during the lastdecade, the growth has slowed although a large number of immigrants continue to reachthe shores of North America. This research attempts to use the past experiences of Anglochurches in North America and case studies on growing Chinese churches to providepossible insights on how to break through the current stagnation many Chinese churchesare facing. The current proposition is that if Chinese churches in North America focus onthe biblical functions and are flexible on forms, the churches will be able to attract anddisciple the next generation of believers and non-believers as Christ-followers
