Abstract
  • The thesis of this project is that the best way to develop a plan for ministry with business persons in the local church is by involving them in the process. Six business persons met monthly with the pastor for one year. Thorugh a series of educational experiences and discussions, they developed a plan of ministry. The project was based on a laboratory, or think tank, kind of model. As a result of this extensive process the plan was well thought out, relevant, and tailored to the needs of the business persons in this particular local church. The group was now confident that they could encourage others to participate in this pastoral and educational ministry of clarification, support and accountability.
