Abstract
  • The need of the small-member First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of Bowie, Tex is to add some spiritual depth to an otherwise healthy congregation. The theological principle undergirding this study maintains that spiritual formation is a gift of God which results in a partnership with Christ and other Christians. This study examines a variety of spiritual disciplines which will lead individuals to a personal experience of God that will result in a deepening of their relationships to one another. The final objective is the formation of a program of spiritual growth for the entire congregation which will result in the revitalization of the congregation.
