- Abstract
- This project grows out of the perceived absence of a clear christological focus at Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, Littleton, Colorado. Lacking such a focus, this project seeks to ascertain what, if any, christological metaphors are currently shaping the faith, life, and ministry of this congregation. It develops a ten part preaching-teaching curriculum series based on the Lucan texts from Cycle C of the Revised Common Lectionary. This curriculum series analyzes, clarifies, and critiques a number of metaphors in an attempt to weave a kind of christological tapestry for the congregation so as to achieve theological clarity and faithfulness in our ministry as disciples of Jesus.
