- Abstract
- The project was designed to equip a selected group of deacons in a discipleship program on prayer so that they could lead selected groups of adult church members through the same program. The project design included a five-week training seminar on the discipline of prayer in the devotional life. A sixth session about leading small groups was implemented among the deacon group. The test results from the questionnaire revealed improvement in a more consistent quiet time among the deacons, and improvement in a more consistent prayer life among the adult church members.
