Abstract
  • The decade of the '90s appears to be a God-given opportunity for the Chinese church in terms of expansion and missions. The intention of this study is to develop the concept of the congregation as an evangelistic community, and to design a model of evangelism that effectively reaches out to the Chinese people of Fresno. The author explores the viability of a theology and strategy of friendship evangelism. It is a caring way to share our faith. When needy people experience love and care in the name of Christ, it should not be surprising to find them attaching themselves to that caring community.
