Abstrakt

Payne Theological Seminary in Wilberforce, Ohio consists of many stressed students, isolated from mainline society. This project developed a seminary empowerment ministry to provide seminary students with encouragement, prayer, rest, meditation, self-care and social gatherings. The objective was realized and a supportive community resulted. Quantitative measurements showed that seminary students and support staff were empowered through their shared experiences. The model is an effective tool for ministering to isolated seminary students.
