Abstract
  • The purpose of this ministry research project was to develop and lead the congregation in a meaningful worship style. By attaining biblical perspectives concerning worship and by developing and implementing a worship committee, the church became aware of the importance of various elements of worship and the need for a change in the style of worship. The project drew on research into the biblical and theological basis of worship. Insights from the traditional, contemporary and blended worship styles were presented. Four sermons and several creative worship services were planned. Through surveys, questionnaires, and focused interviews, the research showed that the congregation gained a better understanding of worship and a deeper appreciation of a new worship style.
