- Abstract
- This project surveys the phenomena, causes and understanding of the disunity among Korean churches today. The project also explores the problems and issues facing Korean churches from the social science and missiological perspectives. The project demonstrates the emerging issues of ecumenical debate in Korea through an analysis of the background theological literatures published by local members of the World Council of Churches. The project concludes by describing three grassroots ecumenical programs in Korea to explore possible principles and strategies for ecumenical cooperation among the regional churches.
