Abstract
  • The unstable Sudanese political situation and the persecution of the church there necessitate a unique type of leadership training, one that prepares church leaders with both theological education and thorough practical vocational training. It must enable them to be self-supporting, financially independent of both impoverished church members and expatriate organizations whose funding could be frustrated in the event of political isolation within the sending countries. The curriculum was designed based upon a compilation of numerous models, both inside and outside Africa, after the specific needs of the church were determined by survey.
