  • This project formed the basis for the development of a deacon visitation ministry program at New Seoul Baptist Church. Chapters 1 and 2 outlined the biblical foundation for deacon ministry and visitation ministry. Chapter 3 examined the unique needs of a Korean-American church through available literature as well as the perceptions of the local church. Because this congregation is more than 70 percent female, there was an immediate need for deacons
