Abstract
  • This project conducts an analytical survey of Baptist pastors in the mid-Atlantic US to determine why many pastors resign during or soon after a major church building project. The survey finds that pastors resign in such circumstances primarily for four reasons: post-project burnout, stresses in relationships, stesses in finances, and desire to achieve and then move on.
