Abstract
  • This project proposes that all Christians are called to ministry. The evangelistic mandate of the church calls it to proclaim the faith and to initiate believers into the faith so that they can claim a ministry as Christians. The project examines baptism, the Body of Christ, the priesthood of all believers, and church structure. It includes a workshop (six two-hour sessions) in which laypersons are guided to explore and claim their ministry. Participants indicate through evaluations that the workshop influences their understanding of ministry and leads them to explore further their call.
