Abstracto

This project evaluates the statistical data related to the rapid aging of America, studies key biblical passages related to retirees, discusses various ministry opportunities available to retirees, and presents a biblical perspective on retirement with suggested applications to individuals, local churches, and parachurch organizations. Chapter 1 presents data that substantiate the rapid aging of the American population and the impact and responsibility of the church to this age wave. In Chapter 2, current data about retirees are presented with relevant projected data. Chapter 3 is a study of key biblical passages. From this study, key biblical principles are gathered to emphasize and accentuate the life-long stewardship responsibilities of believers.
