This project aims to develop a sports evangelism strategy for Airline Baptist Church in Bossier City, Louisiana. The project director led selected staff members, laymen, and laywomen of Airline Baptist Church to develop an evangelism strategy to utilize in the sports ministry. The strategy planning team met for five sessions to develop a sports evangelism strategy that took into account best practices from other sports ministries and guidance from experts in the field of sports evangelism. The project director informed the team of data from a five-mile demographics survey, sports evangelism literature, and alternative sports ministries. In addition, the strategy team met with two experts in sports evangelism via Zoom meetings. The project director led the team to develop a four-part strategy for using sports for intentional evangelism. After completion, the project director presented the plan to the deacon body of the church for approval and implementation.
