- Abstract
- This dissertation provides a resource specially a book for African American churches that seek to be effective in reaching lost and unchurched in the twenty-first century. Building on a theological foundation of the human predicament, reconciliation, and mission, the author has developed a biblical concept of engaging in a missional ecclesiology. The author accomplished this goal by writing a book focusing on the African-American church and a missional ecclesiology. The writer contends that, as it seeks to minister in the new millennium, the contemporary African-American church should examine seriously the changing culture and climate in America.
