Abstract
  • In an attempt to solve a time-management problem in his counseling ministry, the chaplain at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University developed an ethical model and used it in group sessions to solve interpersonal conflicts. The chaplain asked fifty-two students to form nine counseling groups focusing on their interpersonal conflicts. In six sessions they were trained to use an ethical model to resolve their conflicts. All objectives were achieved, and the chaplain concluded that an ethical model under the appropriate counseling and ethical conditions can solve conflicts and conserve the chaplain's counseling time.
