Abstract

This project was an attempt to design a study program to help laity in the Minnesota District of the Church of the Nazarene become more competent in their leadership roles in the local churches. Using hands-on training, surveys, and focus groups, the project provided a method and a means for laity from several churches to become involved in training for ministry. The project showed that existing programs could be utilized to equip the laity for effective ministry in the local churches.
