Abstract
  • Practicing the spiritual disciplines as a means to soul rest enables leaders to move from spiritual burnout to spiritual transformation. This project considered the dangers of spiritual fatigue and the benefits of spiritual disciplines through the study Experiencing Soul Rest. Each participant developed and practiced a rule of life. Pre-tests and post-rests provided measurable observations. The project rendered the practice of spiritual disciplines an effective method of recovery from spiritual fatigue and spiritual burnout.
