- Abstract
- The research explores the missiological aspects of humanitarian activities initiated and implemented by the evangelical churches in the area of the former Yugoslavia (1991-2006). The research delineates the main modalities of para-church organizations including its mission statement, foundations, goals, target groups, programs, projects, management of resources, leadership structure, etc. Volunteers and fund-raising activities are considered equally important and elaborated in separate chapters. The research also lists humanitarian programs, projects and agape practical experiences in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, and Kosovo. The conclusions offer a view to the outcomes compared to the humanitarian and evangelistic goals of the organization's mission.
