Abstract
  • Small group Bible studies like those offered by Serendipity House offer the church, and especially Lutheran churches, the best hope for its evangelism efforts because they take seriously the Lutheran principle of the priesthood of all believers. The author's method of study was to reflect on previous evangelism efforts he used during his parish ministry, as contrasted with his attempts to implement small group ministry in his current parish. It is the author's conclusion that small group ministry is an effective means of evangelism in a Lutheran parish.
