Abstract
  • This dissertation is an analysis of how the Korean Church can be effective in community development in the 21st century. Three models of incarnational mission in community development were presented as case studies: Canaan Farmer's School, Doo-Rae Community Movement, and Da-Il Community Church. Findings were related to historical and practical studies, and to theological reflections. The case studies demonstrate ways in which Korean churches can be sensitive to social tendencies, related to the marginalized, and more effective in 21st century mission.
