  • This project attempts, through a workshop, to increase awareness of intercessory prayer as a tool to achieve wholistic wellness. The workshop involved a diverse group of professionals from a wide range of disciplines and specialties on the campus of the Baptist Health System's Montclair Hospital. Intercessory prayer is necessary tool for wholistic health care because it connects people and enables them to 'touch' one another. Although prayers come in many different forms and often have surprising results, prayer is intended to be integrated with relationships. Although the workshop was designed in a hospital setting, the material can be applied to churches, clubs, or any other organizations in which relationships and wellness are important.
