The author reviewed the history and current development in China, and analyzed the development of Chinese society in the 21st century. In addition, the author developed a questionnaire which was completed by 150 ministers, who served in Chinese house churches. The author also conducted in-dept interviews with 3 senior theological educators to have them share their teaching expectations on theological education. Based on the collected data through questionnaires and interviews as well as the author's own experience and observation, several strategic recommendations and prospects for theological education in China were provided.
