- Abstract
- Epiphany themes/celebrations/insights are important for individual and church renewal. Disciples have largely ignored Epiphany, providing deficient educational and liturgical materials for its observance. A theological/historical rationale recommending the celebration of Epiphany was developed; preaching, worship and educational resources were project-generated. Pre and post-project surveys demonstrated that clergy are more informed regarding the nature of Epiphany than about its historical development, liturgical celebration, and educational observance. Knowledge about and commitment to its celebration and observance were heightened.
