Abstract
  • In the aftermath of Vatican II, the ecumenical movement experienced an inspired period of creative dialogue. Although there have been great strides accomplished in the meeting of hearts and minds of denominational leaders, implementation of dialogue has not been effectively performed in the context of local congregations, depriving the church of a vibrant means of theological and relational growth. Using the model of small group study and worship experiences, the author explores an ecumenical vision in the context of the spirituality of local faith communities with the hope of inspiring new growth in faith, discipleship, and unity of the church.
