Abstract
  • This dissertation presents new mission strategies for the urban industrial mission focused on Korean women minjung (grass-root people) who struggle to survive in a harsh economic and political reality. The characteristics of the mission strategies are examined in the writer's work with the Christian women minjung movement and in her parish work with them. The new mission strategies the writer presents are those that can help women minjung become the subjects of their own lives. They will also contribute to the transformation of theology, church, and society. As a whole, the dissertation offers various resources for the ministry for and with minjung.
