This project proposes that effective evangelism must be 'intentional'--theologically sound, appropriate for a specific church, and responsive to a specific community. Drawing on biblical teaching about evangelism, a congregational self-study, analysis of the surrounding community, and a survey of 20 evangelism methods, the project concludes that 'lifestyle evangelism' is most appropriate for Hatcher Memorial Baptist Church and its community, affirming that conclusion in practical application.
