Abstract
  • Mainline Protestant church members are questioning the function and position of intercessory prayer, laying on of hands, and anointing with oil in Christian life and faith. There is a need to identify the link between the ministry of early Christians and the contemporary situation. This project researches, designs, and carries out an experiential adult seminar on sacramental healing ministries. The author discovers that adult experiential education for sacramental healing ministries provides a link between the ministry of Jesus, the early church and the contemporary situation. Sacramental healing ministries are one means of providing service which reveals God's love for humanity.
