Abstract
  • The church can serve the needs of people outside the church through a broad-based ministry of business ethics. A step-by-step description of how a Presbyterian pastor in a suburban Cleveland, Ohio, church led his congregation to offer such a ministry is provided. Exegesis and interpretation of the vision of the last Judgment of Matthew 25:31-46 supports the ministry. Results are evaluated in terms of the stated goals of the ministry and in terms of theological understandings. The paper concludes that the program was a valid facet of the total ministry of the congregation.
