Abstract
  • The project addresses the need for intentionality in the development of stewards. The thesis that stewardship is a 'Christ-believer partnership in redeemed life' is developed through five worship experiences and five training sessions for the stewardship council. Parables, in Luke's gospel, interpreted by means of the literary criticism praxis approach, which utilizes a case study method, gives shape to the educational framework. The project generated a increased awareness of stewardship, which improved the church's financial climate, and yielded a three-year strategy for developing stewards.
