Abstract
  • The paper examines several models of theological education for prospective ordinands who concentrate on Hispanic ministry in the Episcopal Church. A historical overview of spirituality and Protestant mission experiments form part one. A biblical/theological basis which draws from John, Roland Allen, Richard Hooker and Latin American base communities provides the theological background. In part three the opinion within the church is sampled which leads to the conclusion that several training routes are required. These routes depend on a proper selection process. The project reviews innovations in seminary programs of various denominations and makes a case for theological education by extension.
