Abstract

An established church can develop an d implement a strategy to reach a portion of the unchurched in its community. The author researched this project by reading books on church growth and the selected target audience, by attending a seminar on the target group, and by interviewing church growth experts. Research resulted in the training of a core group from within the church and the initiation of a contemporary week night service focused on the needs of the target group. The service was successful in reaching the target group.
