Abstract
  • The researcher chose to study twenty years of articles over a hundred-year span in the God's Revivalist. To facilitate the analysis, an evaluative grid was developed. The grid was the interpretive tool used to determine changes in the presentation of the doctrine of sanctification. Two main conclusions came about because of this study. First, no significant theological change took place in the doctrine of sanctification as it appeared in the Revivalist. Second, the condition of God's Bible School (where the Revivalist was published) had no influence on the doctrine of holiness as presented in the magazine.
