Abstract
  • The project describes the process of spiritual formation in a small group. It evaluates the process using materials developed for ten sessions and the use of 'A Religious Attitudes Inventory', by William E Crane and Henry Coffer, Jr. Fourteen persons from First United Methodist Church, Wellsville, New York form the small group for this project. Participants are encouraged to share their life stories using Biblical storytelling as a paradigm. The implications of the project for spiritual formation are related to marriage and the family, the United Methodist tradition, the life style of the contemporary church and the Great Commission.
