Abstract
  • The purpose of the project was to develop an ongoing program designed to equip lay persons with skills for spiritual counseling of new converts, new members, inquirers and those with need for prayer and support. A training notebook was developed by each participant and supervised counseling was done in actual invitations. The result was the commissioning and service of lay persons for commitment counseling and an ongoing training program for a multi-congregational context.
