  • The purpose of this project was to determine the effect of preaching on attitudes on marriage of the members of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Attitude change was determined through the use of a questionnaire that was administered prior to and following the delivery of four sermons. A comparison of the scores indicated the attitudes of the congregation did not change. There was evidence that the attitudes of some members did change. An important finding was that over half who responded believed their attitudes had changed.
