Abstract
  • Seeds for this project were sown in virtually every class taken by the author during his course of study in the Doctor of Ministry program. It is hoped that these seeds, now developed and matured, will prove to be a means of encouragement to the body of Christ. The project is intended to develop a practical biblical-theological ministry of encouragement which is a much needed emphasis in the 20th century church. It outlines a partial outworking of such a ministry in the life of the Marks Presbyterian Church of Marks, Mississippi, where the author has had the privilege of serving for the past eight years.
