Abstract
  • Group spiritual direction is a very effective method for individuals to discern the will of God. This project is a case study of how a congregation developed a model of group spiritual direction using Christian meditation and silence to corporately discern the will of God and to help the First United Methodist Church of Tallassee, Alabama, develop a mission statement and a long-range plan.
