Abstract
  • Homelessness is a major problem in the United States. Churches need to be a part of the solution. Most churches are not aware of how to help, nor of the influence they can have in their community. The project describes the development of a rotating church shelter in the community. From the initial planning to the evaluation of the effect on the community, this report describes the impact the church had regarding homelessness. The success of this project resulted in the interaction between churches across denominational lines. It also relied on the cooperation of community organizations and city government.
