Abstracto

This project proposes to assist preachers in addressing biblically an increasingly complex and controversial array of social issues that are not directly mentioned in Scripture. The project draws on interviews with leading theologians and pastors as well as surveys of preachers and sermon hearers in order to determine motives and means for preaching on such subjects. The project also offers methods for research in social issues and for discerning a biblical perspective. The aim is construction of biblical sermons on difficult social realities.
