Abstract
  • This project consists of a Bible study guide, 'An Experience in Lifestyle Stewardship,' that is based on Romans 12:1-13:10 and a leader's guide. It presents the theological assumptions and exegetical study which undergird this Bible study experience. A statistical review of Lutheran lay people demonstrates a readiness for a broader understanding of stewardship. The evaluations reveal that the Bible study raises the consciousness that stewardship is a lifestyle. It challenges participants to a deeper commitment and specific actions in living out what it means to be God's steward.
